RC Design of Rectangular concrete column - Steel reinforcement areas in two directions needed

Current RC design of columns only give the total reinforcement needed by the column. This is fine for circular columns, but this is not satisfactory for rectangular or any other column that isn't axisymmetric. It's needed to have an information of needed reinforcement in two directions, the directions of principal axes of the section to properly reinforce it.
